The campaign, as styled by Olivier Rizzo and photographed by Willy Vandeperre, as the clothes featured in the shots are meant to strike up conversation with the art. The artwork then comes from famed twentieth century artists including Andy Warhol, Richard Prince and Simons’ favorite, Sterling Ruby. Ultimately, the juxtaposition of the models and their respective pieces of art is explained through text.

Moncler and Virgil Abloh’s OFF-WHITE have released a new five-piece capsule collection comprising of a windbreaker, paneled pullover, lightweight puffer jacket, cotton T-shirt and baseball hat for Spring/Summer 2017. Combining the distinctive logo motifs from both brands, the collection is characterized by a striking orange, blue, silver and black color palette, as well as Moncler’s renowned outerwear construction and OFF-WHITE’s graphic-centric styling. The lightweight puffer jacket comes with two breast pockets, a super-sized rubber Moncler logo patch in orange, a striking silver-tone OFF-WHITE arrow print on the back, as well as the famous diagonal stripe logo motif on the zipper lining and cuffs in the same metallic shade.

“Apodiktische Gewissheit” (“apodeictic certainty”) is the title of an audio-visual cooperative project from Berlin-based artist Gerhard Mantz and Wolfgang Voigt. The project is premised on a digital video piece from Gerhard Mantz. Steadily flowing geometric forms and themes move evenly around a fixed center towards the viewer. A hypnotic undertow-like effect of seductive beauty emerges – impossible to elude, whether you want to or not. Wolfgang Voigt seizes on the digital aesthetic and the mechanical flow of the images, giving them a musical equivalent. The result is a successful amalgamation of imagery and music that generates maximum intensity with minimum motion. An Impression of concurrency between loop-ish continuity and a constant forward thrust, always the same and always different, beginninglessness and endlessness is created.
