ELYSIAN X CHUCKY

Posted on 2022-09-26

Nothing screams Halloween quite like Chucky. That’s why Elysian Brewing has partnered with USA Network and SYFY ahead of the second season of the Chucky TV series to release A Killer Wit Beer. Just like the iconic doll, this pumpkin witbier with cranberry will be your friend ’til the very end. Saturated with blood-red cranberry juice entangled with pumpkin that’s been mangled into a puree, the beer is light in color with spine-chilling flavors of chamomile and cinnamon – the perfect combination of everything you love about the season.

MADSAKI – THE NIGHT IS LONG THAT NEVER FINDS THE DAY

Posted on 2022-09-26

Having accrued much success and accolades from a painting practice that undermines the dichotomy of high art and low art, MADSAKI’s visual resources range from the classics throughout art history to newspaper images and pop culture icons while he “upgraded” spray paint as a fine art medium. MADSAKI was on the outlook for a new direction and perspective in his works. The title of exhibition, taken from a passage in Shakespeare’s seminal tragedy, Macbeth, conveys MADSAKI’s visual translation of the current global situation from his viewpoint.

NOTHING COMPARES

Posted on 2022-09-26

The story of Sinéad O’Connor’s rise to worldwide fame, and how her iconoclastic personality resulted in her exile from the pop mainstream. Focusing on prophetic words and deeds across a six-year period (1987-1993), the film reflects on the legacy of this fearless trailblazer, through a contemporary feminist lens.

DIALECT – CHROMA

Posted on 2022-09-26

Former Outfit frontman Andrew PM Hunt returns to RVNG Intl. under his solo alias Dialect for a reissue of his debut album entitled Advanced Myth. With several full length releases out on, Advanced Myth marked a new beginning for Hunt as he moved to a new city (New York) as his old band dissolved and a new relationship (with his now wife) began to bloom. Myth contains both laconic beauty and caustic pain within its brittle songcraft. coming like a sampler of his best efforts when viewed within the lens of the work that followed. But Dialect’s ASMR-meets-kosmiche approach here still sounds like an impressive opening salvo.
