2022-09-26Former Outfit frontman Andrew PM Hunt returns to RVNG Intl. under his solo alias Dialect for a reissue of his debut album entitled Advanced Myth. With several full length releases out on, Advanced Myth marked a new beginning for Hunt as he moved to a new city (New York) as his old band dissolved and a new relationship (with his now wife) began to bloom. Myth contains both laconic beauty and caustic pain within its brittle songcraft. coming like a sampler of his best efforts when viewed within the lens of the work that followed. But Dialect’s ASMR-meets-kosmiche approach here still sounds like an impressive opening salvo.
