Dutch wunderkind Bas has built himself a solid reputation through only a handful of releases on labels such as Wolfskuil, Kutchuli and most notably his 2011 EP Ten on Freerange which has gone onto become a stone-cold classic in the deep house mecca of Johannesburg. This long awaited follow up delivers on every level and if early feedback and crowd response is anything to go by looks set to push Bas further into the spotlight where he deserves to be.
You And Me starts in a deceptively understated manner wrapping you in a shroud of warm, dubby stabs underpinned by a rolling groove that can’t fail to draw you onto the dancefloor. Things stay deep with hints of Chandler and echoes of Basic Channel until the breakdown arrives, the filters roll up and the whitenoise shines through bringing a new energy and dynamic to the track.

This season Carhartt have worked closely with Rocky Mountain Featherbed to produce a classic down vest and jacket for the cold months ahead.
Rocky Mountain Featherbed is a U.S based brand, founded in “the Cowboy State” (Jackson Hole, Wyoming) in the late 1960s.
The company created their iconic down vests for cowboys with a seamless single-piece leather yoke. The idea of the famous yoke came from leather capes created by the Native Americans and the vests became famous for their cold-proof and heat-retaining capabilities.
Staying true to the original Rocky Mountain Featherbed designs, values and style, that perfectly matches Carhartt WIP vision and attitude, we have retained the iconic yoke and the natural mouton collar to create highly-technical vests and jackets, available in olive, navy and black with subtle Carhartt branding.

With this tale of a secret-filled Hollywood family on the verge of implosion, director David Cronenberg forges both a wicked social satire and a very human ghost story from our celebrity-obsessed culture. Meet the Weiss family, who are making their way in a sun-soaked Southern California rife with money, dreams, fame, envy, angst, yearning – and relentless hauntings. Stafford Weiss (John Cusack) is a famed TV self-help therapist, whose “Hour of Personal Power” has brought him an A-list celebrity clientele. Meanwhile, Cristina Weiss (Olivia Williams) has her work cut out managing the career of their disaffected child-star son, Benjie (Evan Bird), a fresh graduate of rehab at age 13.
