Italian paper makers with 125 years experience, Fedrigoni find their top quality paper wrapped around Leica‘s popular X2 camera. Chosen – their pearl embossed Constellation Jade paper, replacing the usual leather band wrap. Testament to the products durability, the icy cool covering is said to give just as much protection as its hide equivalent, able to withstand fast and slow temperature changes from -40 ° to +70 ° C and abrasion tested over 400 times. The intricate packaging references an old-school paper sample book, the lucky buyer having to unwrap 16 layers, each telling part of the Fedrigoni story, whilst reminding us all of the sustainability issues around plastic packaging.

The Leica X2 Special Edition “Fedrigoni” was produced in a limited edition of only 25 pieces.
