PAO HOUA HER – THE IMAGINATIVE LANDSCAPE
2026-01-26Pao Houa Her: The Imaginative Landscape spans more than two decades of the artist’s career, offering a fluid and unconventional survey of her evolving vision. Seen through the lens of the titular series, the exhibition weaves together connections between earlier projects, recent works, and pieces still in progress. Her photographs move seamlessly between geographies, California’s agricultural valleys, the dense jungles of Laos, and the poppy fields of Minnesota, each location transformed into a symbolic terrain that reflects both personal and collective narratives of migration and resilience.
