UCON ACROBATICS X LEIF PODHAJSKÝ
2020-11-03Almost a decade ago, Ucon Acrobatics released their first collaboration with artist Leif Podhajsky, at a time when he was one of the most exciting emerging artists in the design world, releasing three amazing limited-edition tees & posters which were sold out in no time. Ucon collaborated with him once again for their MOTIF event in 2018. Leif Podhajsky is now well known for his distinctive exhibitions, his album art for musicians such as Tame Impala, Bonobo, Kylie Minogue and Mount Kimbie, as well collaborations with brands such as Nike, Burton and Red Bull.
Leif’s work explores themes of connectedness, love, fear, magic, and the relevance of nature. His approach is based on the exchange between organic systems and new technologies that strive to inspire and stimulate thought. Made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or recycled water bottles. This capsule collection is also made transparently by repurposing waste materials.
