PALACE X PEZ

Posted on 2021-10-18

Renowned for his work across the London club scene throughout the late ‘80s and early ‘90s, Pez became the visual signature of rave and club culture with his works going onto become integral to dance music culture and urban Britain. Initially inspired by Martha Cooper and Henry Chalfont’s seminal book Subway Art, Pez soon became involved in the burgeoning rave scene when he began designing flyers and artworks for major events.

Now, teaming up with Palace, the duo celebrate some of the artist’s most iconic works — including a vibrant flyer design that decorates a head-to-toe denim look — as well T-shirts, hoodies and caps, and a selection of MA-1 bomber jackets featuring an embroidered Palace twist on the ‘Pezman’ character.

CHANEL N°5 THE CALENDAR HOLIDAY 2021

Posted on 2021-10-15

A complex fragrance blend, a streamlined bottle, a number for a name. When Gabrielle Chanel invented N°5 in 1921, she created a fragrance unlike any other, instantly ushering the fragrances of the era out of fashion. With N°5, Mademoiselle broke free of convention and revolutionized the world of perfumery.

Shaped like an enormous bottle of N°5, this holiday calendar was designed as a work of art and is available in limited quantities. Far from conventional, the calendar includes 27 boxes numbered from 5 to 31. 5 for the perfume, 31 for the mythical address. Everything makes sense.

It contains some of the CHANEL House’s most iconic products. Among its many surprises are a limited-edition ROUGE ALLURE lipstick inspired by N°5, LE VERNIS in a new shade of red, and a bottle of N°5 Eau de Parfum, as well as a bracelet bearing the number 5, a one-of-a-kind snow globe, and a host of other accessories dedicated to the fragrance and designed just for the occasion.

MARMOT MAMMOTH PARKA

Posted on 2021-10-11

Originally designed as a basecamp coat and later coined the “Big Boy” due to its oversized look, the coat has remained a huge staple of New York fashion and returns in six new shades. In fact, when it first resurfaced in a 2019 Opening Ceremony collaboration, the demand outpaced production and buyers would have to resort to scouring resell sites like eBay and Grailed and purchase it for triple the retail value. The jacket — which is ideal for East Coast winters given its GORE-TEX weather protection — remains highly coveted for its style and utility.

The latest iterations of the Marmot Mammoth Parka range from bright colors like vibrant cherry tomato/solar, clear blue/team red to neutrals like Crocodile/Scotch and Black/Citronelle.

CASHMERE SOUND

Posted on 2021-10-04

Antonio Scalia is the creative director and roster member of the ICECREAM Skate Team, but he’s ready to venture out on his own and take on a brand new apparel-focused initiative titled Cashmere Sound. The brand was first ideated years ago with legendary creative Pharrell and never was fully executed, but now Scalia has found himself in a position of power to reignite the brand as it has just unveiled its first full fledged collection. “Originally it was a brand Pharrell and I were going to do ten years ago but it never materialized”, he told HYPEBEAST. “About a year ago I revisited the idea and felt it was time! I want Cashmere to be something that communicates all the people, places, artists and brands I have experienced in my travels through time. It’s been a long journey to get to where I am today and I have a lot of stories to tell.”
