Y-3 PALACE

Posted on 2022-11-07

Adidas and Yohji Yamamoto close out their “20 Years: Recoded” celebrations in subversive fashion – collaborating with Palace on a selection of apparel, accessories, and footwear. Marking the occasion, the London based brand have reinterpreted archival pieces from throughout Y-3’s history, putting their spin on a legacy of iconic designs.

Channelling both the rebellious spirit of Y-3 and the irreverent humour of Palace, the arrival of the collaborative collection is accompanied by an aphoristic campaign – realized through the lens of Jack Davison and styled by Robbie Spencer. A dynamic tribute to sporting heritage, the unforgettable visuals feature footballing icon, Zinedine Zidane, and skate legend, Lucas Puig. Launching alongside the images is a short film, which brings the duo together for a charismatic tête-à-tête.

PERCIVAL X HARRY LAMBERT

Posted on 2022-11-07

Drawing inspiration from the world of botanicals, particularly Nightshade, something Lambert is actually allergic to, the collection finds itself centering around the family of foods, notably the humble aubergine, pepper and tomato. Nightshade itself is a deep aubergine hue, often complex in its earthy undertones, and these shades work alongside cartoonified foods in a charming, whimsical collection that’s quintessentially Lambert, as if made to be worn by his clients.

NOAH X BARBOUR

Posted on 2022-10-31

During the outdoor craze of the 1960s, a new technical fabric was introduced in the Northeast of the United States: 60/40 cloth. The name was derived from its fiber content–60% cotton/40% nylon. Originally used for mountain parkas, the cloth became wildly popular almost immediately, achieving a cult following amongst climbers and the like.

Since then, there have been incredible developments in the outdoor textile world utilizing new materials, processes and technologies seemingly every season. With this opportunity Noah have worked with Barbour again, they wanted to inject a little bit of that feeling into a truly British jacket.

In addition to the eight colorways of the 60/40 Bedale, Noah also wanted to offer a traditional waxed cotton Bedale. This season they chose camo and included a zip-out liner.

CAT FOOTWEAR X NIGEL CABOURN

Posted on 2022-10-31

The collaboration is inspired by the unbeatable earthmoving equipment of Caterpillar Inc. From 1941, Caterpillar machinery was a right-hand partner for the US Navy Seabees, the construction battalion, famous for their ability to build anything, anywhere. That spirit powers our collaboration.

We are the perfect match, a shared passion for durability, function and everyday utility. With almost a hundred years of construction and workwear heritage, we have a story to tell. It was our wartime role that captured Cabourn’s attention. Caterpillar Crawler tractors were a trusted companion for the Seabees, known for some of the toughest construction jobs in history. The Seabees pride themselves on being able to take on any challenge – all while protecting themselves and those around them. In this campaign we embrace the Seabees “Can Do” motto. From Pacific islands to sub-zero tundra, Caterpillar machinery hauled supplies, opened trails and built bases. They, like us, were made to get the job done.

Authenticity and industrial heritage are the beating heart of our collaboration. So we’ve built the collection on the same production lines as our iconic work boots. We’ve created two styles: Utah and Omaha, named after D-Day beaches cleared by the Seabees using Caterpillar machinery. Classic Cat features combine with military-inspired details; the perfect definition of Cat Footwear meets Nigel Cabourn.
