NEW ERA X SPIKE LEE 1986 COLLECTION
2014-07-07New Era teams up with seminal American filmmaker Spike Lee on the “1996″ collection. The resulting offerings celebrate Lee’s unusual request in 1996, in which he asked New Era CEO Chris Koch for a scarlet Yankees cap. Koch happily complied and Lee was seen wearing the unorthodox hat during a World Series game. The “1996″ collection is a tribute to the historic event and consists of four exclusive caps.
Premiering in Europe on July 17th, launching globally on July 24th.
