JÜRGEN KLOPP ADIDAS SPZL F.C.

Posted on 2024-09-13

SPZL F.C. is a capsule collection of apparel and footwear brought to life by a carefully crafted campaign which stars one of the sport’s most revered figures, Jürgen Klopp.

The collection itself features a selection of carefully considered pieces, crafted with elevated materials and featuring the label’s signature details. A sleek grey track top is paired with a matching pair of track bottoms, while two soft cotton items – a long sleeve polo and a crewneck – offer versatile options. Finally, rounding out the apparel lineup is a durable CORDURA®️ parka. Each piece then comes replete with SPZL F.C. branding.
Taking it back to where it all started, the SPZL F.C. collection also features its own unique takes on two of the most iconic adidas football footwear styles. First up, the Made in Germany Copa Mundial SPZL F.C. comprises a premium leather upper, a foldover tongue, and red studs and stitching. Next, the Mundial Team SPZL F.C. features a black leather upper, a revised suede T toe overlay (a first for this silhouette), and the traditional oversized tongue with ‘Mod Trefoil’ branding.

To accompany the pitch shoes comes a training shoe that is perfect for the stands with Lothertex SPZL F.C. trainer. These classic low profile, three stripe shoes are built with an adi-Tex membrane to make them weather resistant for winter away days. They come in a grey/charcoal/white colourway that compliments the apparel collection.

British sportswear brand Admiral has teamed up with the estate of music legend Bob Marley to create a limited-edition football shirt celebrating the iconic Exodus album.

For the shirt, it’s not only been designed as a tribute to Bob Marley but also to London’s rich cultural diversity. Drawing inspiration from the bold gold, red, and black colors of the Exodus album cover, the design features a new Bob Marley FC crest with the iconic Lion graphic prominently displayed. This piece serves as a powerful symbol of how football and reggae can unite people across backgrounds, just as Marley’s music and love for the sport continue to resonate today.

PHOTAY – WINDSWEPT

Posted on 2024-09-09

‘Windswept’ is the fifth solo album from Photay, the nom de plume of electronic naturalist, experimental-pop beatmaker and composer Evan Shornstein. Initiated when the producer created a synthesizer patch called ‘wind’, the nine-song cycle is under the spell of the titular weather element, its compositions touching upon the movement of air’s influence on human existence and emotional states, our hopes and dreams. ‘Windswept’, home-rave-ready and ghostly with its machines, brings together the various versions of Photay’s trademark sonic warmth and hardware pastoralism.
