The 3-time BAFTA Award-winning hand-drawn animated feature follows the epic adventure of Michael, a young boy who sets off with his family on the sailing trip of a lifetime. Excitement turns to terror when a violent storm erupts, and Michael and his dog, Stella, are swept overboard. They are washed up onto a remote island, frightened and struggling to survive. Michael soon discovers he is not alone when confronted by Kensuke, a mysterious Japanese man who has secretly lived on the island since World War II and is angry at Michael’s arrival. However, when poachers threaten their fragile island paradise and the animals that live there, Michael and Kensuke join forces to save their secret world.

Leading the charge is a new riders leather moto jacket that continues the collaborative series with Lewis Leathers. Appearing in black, the jacket features two different variations that read “MY ENERGY COMES FROM FREEDOM” and “WEAR YOUR FREEDOM” on the back in a white paintbrush-stroke finish. On its heels is the bias-cut Sukajan jacket in collaboration with Toyo Enterprises. Also in black, the avant-garde-esque jacket features graphic embroidery in black and white tones.

ISABELLA DUCROT – BAD FLOWERS

sabella Ducrot is obsessed with beauty that can be found in even the most mundane of everyday objects. Her works are like praise songs, seemingly light but cutting to the essence of life itself. Ducrot uses both textiles and paper as a medium, which she has collected from her travels throughout Asia. The material, its flaws and qualities, become part of the image and are presented as pure matter that needs no further embellishment. Flower still-lifes, landscapes, loving couples, garments – these are Ducrot’s themes – simple, yet all-encompassing.
It is this certain innocence inherent in to her practice, which allows Ducrot’s works to speak for themselves.

Facta lands back on his own Wisdom Teeth imprint for a new EP of laser-focused productions entitled So is the sun. Dropping into the label’s 10 year anniversary festivities with several weapons-grade dancefloor fillers, So is the sun is the result of robust rinsing from Facta and other heads in the WT family. Using turn-of-the-century minimal house as a spiritual guide, Facta turns out steam-y rollers like ‘Brain Drain’ with supple synths and kicks until you can practically feel the humidity.
