Following his string of public artworks in Paris, Banksy returns with a new illegally-mounted street sign piece which is presumably located in the town of Clevedon in England. The work portrays a black spray-painted stencil of two elderly subjects with a pair of children holding hands in the foreground.

PLEASURES’ latest capsule pays homage to the late American artist, Patrick Nagel.
Released in partnership with the artist’s estate, the collection features four of Nagel’s prints across a selection of colored T-shirts and hoodies.
Nagel, who grew to prominence in the ’70s and ’80s, was famed for his distinctive art deco-style illustrations, which often depicted the female form, dubbed the “Nagel Woman.”

Cut-Up is from the fourth LP from Forma, via the Kranky label. Semblance may follow many of the same principles as techno – tracks made largely on synthesisers and drum machines, all of the emphasis on rhythm, and track structures characterised by the development of a single idea over a span of several minutes – but to label it thus would be inexact. This dense, bright, alert music has just as much in common with the rhythmic minimalism of Steve Reich as it does with Kraftwerk.

The title has a duality that Hauff enjoys – the German word “Qualm” ( kvalm) translates as fumes or smoke, whilst the English meaning refers to an uneasy feeling of doubt, worry, or fear, especially about one’s own conduct. True to form, the record is unapologetically raw and finds her returning to her original modus operandi – jamming on her machines – “trying to create something powerful without using too many instruments and layers”.

The sounds might be a key to decoding the wordless world propagating through the pages of the book, but this is only a theory. A peculiar logic is at work but is this a mystic journey or a catalogue of fabric designs.
TweetAberdeen-based retailer HANON has collaborated with Danish label Hummel for a new capsule celebrating the lower divisions of Scottish football. Inspired by terrace culture, the collection focuses on three teams from the part-time Scottish Highland League: Huntly FC, Rothes FC and Forres Mechanics FC. All three clubs are based in the same region as HANON.
Hummel’s Marathona OG sneaker comes in black-and-white full grain leather which is offset by light grey suede panels and orange pops in a nod to Rothes FC. The Super Trimm silhouette represents Huntly FC’s team colors with a blue suede upper and dark black sole while the HB Team’s yellow colorway references Forres Mechanics FC.
