2015-03-16Danish sports brand Hummel have teamed up with Tokyo’s atmos on a limited-edition Globetrotter 28 sneaker. In 1987 the Globetrotter was Hummel’s signature basketball silhouette, and was the first for the brand which didn’t feature its iconic chevron side detailing. Sporting a premium black full-grain leather upper, an off-white sole gives a nod to the classic OG model, while the black/red/white colorway references both the Danish and Japanese flags.
With only 28 pairs available, one for every year that has gone by since the shoe was introduced, the Globetrotter 28 is available exclusively in-store at atmos.

2015-03-09Legendary Studio Ghibli cofounder Isao Takahata (Grave of the Fireflies, Pom Poko) revisits Japan’s most famous folktale in this gorgeous, hand-drawn masterwork, decades in the making. Found inside a shining stalk of bamboo by an old bamboo cutter (James Caan) and his wife (Mary Steenburgen), a tiny girl grows rapidly into an exquisite young lady (Chloë Grace Moretz). The mysterious young princess enthralls all who encounter her, but ultimately she must confront her fate, the punishment for her crime.

2015-03-09X+Y follows Nathan, an awkward, idiosyncratic teenager, grappling with the sudden death of the one person who understood him; his father. As he struggles to connect with those around him, he is introduced to an anarchic and unconventional maths teacher who takes Nathan under his wing.
Soon Nathan finds himself selected for the UK Mathematics Squad and, against the odds, representing his country in Taipei. Over there, the academically gifted aren’t bullied but celebrated, envied and even invited to parties. Nathan’s rational brain can cope with the most complex of maths problems just fine, the real test comes when he meets his female exchange partner, Zhang Mei, and has to cope with falling in love; the most irrational thing of all.
