UNKLE ON SCREEN

As part of ‘Daydreaming with… James Lavelle’ at the end of this month, the festival concludes with a special evening event with James Lavelle at the Prince Charles cinema in Leicester Square, UNKLE On Screen. The event will feature the screening of a selection of UNKLE music videos, including the John Hillcoat directed video for new single ‘The Answer’, along commercials scored by the band, and the feature film ‘Odyssey in Rome’, directed by Alex Grazioli and scored by UNKLE.
Following the screenings, James Lavelle will be in conversation with Alex Grazioli and John Hillcoat.

MOVIES ON THE MEADOWS

Special outdoor screenings of Up, Twilight: Eclipse and Metropolis on Cambridge’s Grantchester Meadows. Pink Floyd loved the area so much they wrote a song about it, “Grantchester Meadows” from the album Ummagumma.
The screening are on August Bank Holiday Weekend, Friday 27th, Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th August.

Gates will open at 6.00, with the films starting around dusk – roughly 8.30.

Life In A Day is a global experiment to create a user-generated feature film: a documentary, shot in a single day.
Shot by filmmakers all over the world it will serve as a time capsule to show future generations what it was like to be alive on the 24th of July, 2010.
