adidas and Yohji Yamamoto return for the next installment of Y-3’s Fall/Winter 2020 collection. Testing the boundaries of aesthetic convention, the brand new Y-3 ORISAN sneaker is a progressive runner with a bold look.

Inspired by Y-3’s progressive approach to design, the Y-3 ORISAN sneaker boasts an expressive silhouette brought to life through a transparent layered effect and exaggerated heel. Featuring sheer mesh, suede accents and leather details, the sneaker’s upper is simultaneously striking and understated. Meanwhile the low-cut silhouette’s BOOST midsole and rubber outsole complete the aesthetically avant-garde look.

Never ceasing to challenge preconceived notions of footwear design, the Y-3 ORISAN is available in three bold color make-ups. First, a black colorway with contrasting white accents and an all-white colorway both leverage Yohji’s quintessentially monochromatic palette. Then, a predominantly white colorway with contrasting cyan and red accents, rounds out the offering.

PANTHÈRE DE CARTIER AT HARRODS

For the very first time, Cartier unveils an experiential installation dedicated to the iconic Panthère de Cartier in London’s renowned department store, Harrods.

Connected to the existing Cartier boutique and Cartier Avenue, the Panthère de Cartier experience will run from October 26th to November 27th, 2020.

A truly immersive experience, visitors will marvel through a captivating journey whilst exploring different rooms with unique elements narrating the Panthère de Cartier story.

Welcomed by Cartier bellboys upon arrival, visitors immediately dive into the Panthère universe surrounded by deep hues of emerald green — a nod to the animal’s piercing eyes, to discover the story of Jeanne Toussaint. A trailblazer, free spirit and style icon of the 20th century, Jeanne Toussaint was herself known as “La Panthère.” It is under her creative direction that the Panthère became a Cartier signature.

Continuing the journey through an Infinity Room featuring a mirrored tunnel with fully reflective surfaces, visitors are invited to discover the Panthère style from its inception in 1914, through to today’s latest creations.

In the following room, a show stopping 3D Panthère brings the feline to life through a myriad of sparkling lights, where visitors can take home bespoke Panthère de Cartier keepsakes including tote bags, posters and postcards. A new ‘touch & try’ space will offer the opportunity to try on pieces in the Panthère de Cartier studio, set up as the perfect backdrop for a memorable photograph.

SUPREME/ THE NORTH FACE

Supreme has worked with The North Face® on a new collection for Fall 2020. The collection consists of a Summit Series Himalayan Parka, Mountain Jacket, Hooded Fleece Jacket, Expedition Backpack, Shoulder Bag, Dolomite 3S-20° Sleeping Bag and Nuptse Mitts.

Made exclusively for Supreme, the Summit Series Himalayan Parka features water resistant nylon ripstop with 800-Fill down insulation and quilted baffles.

The Mountain Jacket features waterproof, breathable and fully seam-sealed Dryvent nylon. The Hooded Fleece Jacket features sherpa fleece.

The Expedition Backpack features water resistant 630D Cordura® nylon with 1200D poly boot, and the Shoulder Bag features water resistant nylon.

The Dolomite 3S-20° Sleeping Bag features water resistant nylon with Heatseeker™ Eco insulation and poly lining. The Nuptse Mitts feature water resistant nylon with 550-Fill down insulation and Heatseeker Eco insulation palm insulation.

MINDSEEKER X ROCK MOUNTAIN FEATHERBED

Drawing from the storied label’s Jackson Hole, Wyoming beginnings in the ’60s, the team-up builds on high functionality developed with a mix of premium materials with sophisticated vintage designs.

The Christy Jacket was reimagined with vintage American bandanas accented by a western yoke, made of seamless single leather. The iconic yoke design is in reference to the leather capes created by the wisdom of the native Americans. Accenting the jacket is striking “mindseeker” embroidery on the front and back, along with plush collars that match the cold protection theme.

BEAMS X COLUMBIA FW20

This collection is inspired by the uniforms park rangers wear at Mount Hood National Forest in Portland, Oregon, where Columbia is headquartered.

Featured is a set of weatherized jackets, a fleece zip-up, a scarf, a pair of socks, bucket hats and a small bag. The palettes have been kept relatively minimal — black, brown and various earth-tones. One noteworthy piece is the Bugaboo jacket that comes in colorways of brown and black. A small “Columbia” patch logo is stamped at the upper left chest, complemented by two large waist pockets near the hem. The jacket also comes with a removable neckwarmer that’s been detailed with a bold Realtree camo print. This pattern also appears on the capsule’s fleece zip-up, scarf, socks, bucket hat and shoulder bag, while the black and brown bucket hats round off the concise assemblage.
