NOAH RECYCLED COTTON LONG SLEEVE TEE

Posted on 2019-08-19

Made in USA. 100% recycled cotton, 6.5-ounce heavyweight jersey. The recycled jersey fabric is soft-to-wear while maintaining a slightly textured hand. It is heavier than our pocket and graphic tees, but not as heavy as our Practice Cloth, with a slightly boxier fit.

Cotton is a resource-intensive material, and weaving it into fabric of consistent quality creates enormous amounts of waste–up to 500,000 pounds per week from a single factory. Using 100% recycled cotton means tolerating less uniformity, but the fabric of these tees remains soft and breathable, and makes great use of what would otherwise be thrown away.

NEW BALANCE MSCRC

Posted on 2019-08-19

Three distinct colorways, “White,” “Black” and “Grey/Blue,” made up by a mix of rugged textiles like CORDURA, mesh, suede and ripstop nylon. The sneaker boasts CORDURA fabrics along the semi-exposed tongue and cushioned collars, detailed with slim, curved lines referencing topographical maps. Soft suede panels are placed at the front of the tongue, followed by round laces held together by strips of ripstop that form the shape of the letter “N” at the sidewalls. Mesh underlays and a smooth toe cap complement other details like “New Balance” branding at the heel and multi-colored top-stitching. All of these things sit atop an essential ENCAP REVEAL midsole, underscored by a thinly treaded Vibram outsole.

OK, BALLET FW19

Posted on 2019-08-19

LA-based brand Ok, Ballet‘s Fall/Winter 2019 collection puts a dark twist on a nostalgic circus theme. The fantastical collection features old-fashioned clown graphics, oversized polka dots and mystic references sprinkled in with logo-heavy pieces. “Elements of the otherworldly allure us, the circus, mysticism, magic, and fantasy were focal to this collection,” says accomplished photographer and Ok, Ballet designer Alex Bortz of the collection’s inspiration.

Key pieces in the collection include two black and white short-sleeve button-up shirts, one emblazoned with clown graphics and phrases like “showtime” and “round the clock,” and the other featuring polka dots of various sizes. A black hoodie and T-shirt sport a smoking moon face with the Ok, Ballet logo cleverly emerging from the smoke, while a red sweater, red T-shirt and black crewneck take a simpler approach to displaying the brand’s name

MAISON MARGIELA SILVER FUSION SNEAKERS

Posted on 2019-08-12

The “Steel Grey” colorway takes on a more metallic palette with silver making its way on the toebox, heel, and on the lace cage. Matte silver also appears lightly brushed-on throughout the sneaker for a faded and worn look.

Furthering the deconstructed aesthetic are the customary asymmetrical panels, distressed detailing, and exposed glue/rubber. The Margiela “Numbers” logo can also be found at the bottom of the outsole behind a thick layer of transparent rubber.
