SHOHEI OCHIAI’S SPECIAL-EDIITON TAMAGOTCHI

Japanese artist Shohei Ochiai has unveiled a special collaboration with Tamagotchi, releasing a reprisal of the first-generation model updated with his artwork nodding to the game’s origins. Offering a nostalgic nod to Tamagotchi’s 1996 release, this limited-edition device and its packaging are adorned with Ochiai’s hand-drawn work.

Coming at the height of Gen Z’s bag charm mania, the device comes with a ball chain that can be attached to keychains, bags, or clothing. The collaboration features a Tamagotchi Original housed in a translucent shell, emboldening the original Y2k aesthetic with an additional Tamagotchi UFO design in blue. Elsewhere, matching blue buttons and border accent the design.

The drop continues the brand’s exploration of understated futurism and cybercore aesthetics, featuring 11 styles comprising tops, tees and shorts. Each piece reflects MYSTEPHENM’s evolving design language that blends subtle futurism with a sporty edge. Standout pieces include a sleeveless hoodie and the Pierced Sleeveless tank top — both offered in two colorways and constructed with symmetrical paneling that enhances breathability and movement.

RUFIGE KRU TERMINATOR EP (REMASTERED)

The newly remastered Terminator EP by Goldie’s Rufige Kru alias is here. Originally released in 1992, Terminator is widely regarded as one of the most influential tracks in jungle and drum and bass history. Sitting at a pivotal moment in the genre’s evolution, the EP marked the beginning of a journey for both Goldie and Metalheadz that is still going strong today. Meticulously restored from the original DAT tapes, this remastered edition brings renewed clarity and low-end weight to a seminal release.
