ANNE KORNFELD
2021-12-06Photographer Anne Kornfeld presents a new body of work tracing the journey across two continents and three states as the Covid-19 pandemic took hold of our collective social consciousness. Kornfeld documented her odyssey as she was forced back to the United States from India to self-isolation, eventually returning with caution to her home in New York only to leave again to New Mexico to avoid a second wave. The artist presents psychologically palpable imagery as she explores a new landscape of adaptation in various settings in the US as well as self-portraits that deal with the psychological experience of being in lockdown.
