2018-07-16The Black Dog takes a bite out of the Post-Truth album with these rewirings of key album track ‘Cognitive Dissonance’. Anthony Liely turns in a lush extension, matching some of the early MDR records for pure, DJ ready functionality. Slit meanwhile puts a donk on it with a broken beat roll adding some aquatic elements to the cold, steely electronics of the original. Yet the go-to track is the freshly founded ‘Literal Optical Slant’ which sounds like some of the recent Regis CUB gear played at the wrong speed and pitched down into oblivion.
