TERENCE FIXMER – THE SWARM EP
2019-05-27The Swarm, Terence Fixmer’s first release since the excellent Through The Cortex LP, is a record that opens up exciting new possibilities for the producer. This is largely due to the fact that, after much time spent collecting parts, Fixmer has finally finished assembling a rare Roland System 100 synthesiser. He uses the machine to add both warmth and grit to his EBM style. While ‘The Swarm’, ‘The Dawn’ and ‘No Dreams’ are fizzing techno bangers, ‘FFR2’ softens its edges with a sombre lead line.
