2026-02-23Rod Modell (Deepchord) continues the run of gorgeous environmental ambient releases on the Italian label Silentes under his own name with Frequencies In The Fog. Built up from field recordings, digitally-treated vocal cuts, and delicate synth pads, Modell creates a sonic world so dense and tactile here it genuinely feels like walking around an empty field on a foggy night. Divided into two long movements, the music here flows cyclically, revealing more of itself with each repetition.
