BAXTER DURY – SCHADENFREUDE (MARIE DAVIDSON REMIX)
2025-12-01Baxter Dury is pleased to announce two remixes taken from his current album “Allbarone”. The album has featured high in the end of year lists in Mojo, Uncut and Record Collector so far.
Schadenfreude, one of the key tracks from his highly acclaimed Allbarone album, gets a properly stellar remix from Deewee artist /producer Marie Davidson. Where the previous version bubbled with European acid sounds, Davidson’s overhaul drives the track all the way along a Canadian highway at night, where a minimal pulsing bassline and flickering drum track drive Baxter’s vocal towards a glinting peak at some distant synthesised Nirvana.
