2020-10-05Yre Den might come with an enormous question mark above their head, but the Soilstretch 12” paints a sublime picture of a techno technician more than willing to take risks. Luckily, the manic clangour and kuduro-adjacent rhythms of the title track and its b-side counterpart ‘Glitterer’ don’t take risks when it comes to hard-hitting grooves. Bellowing percussion slide alongside digitised snare strikes, while chiming high end synths and pitched block hits make for a hypnotic release indeed.
