2019-08-19Three years on from the brutalist jungle wreckage of ‘EP3’, Silver Waves presents a taster of new material, mapping out an exciting new vision for the project. Assuming a compositional approach inspired by both the methodology of electroacoustic music and the direct communication of contemporary popular music forms, Silver Waves new work brings into focus the perceived material reality of sound and the imagined space it resides in, using energy summation and release as a guiding structural force, yet presents this methodology with careful consideration for the preservation of traditional musicality, succinct accessibility and unfiltered emotional potency.
