JIM-E STACK – REASSURING
2014-08-05After making his debut on Innovative Leisure with the JIMEWL 001 EP, San Francisco-born, Brooklyn-based producer Jim-E Stack readies his debut album for the imprint titled Tell Me I Belong. The release is a melting pot of house, techno, Baltimore club, grime and much more and maintains a balance between elements from the past and the future. ‘Reassuring’ is a deeply emotional, melancholic house cut, with pensive piano chords taking centre stage, vocal chops on top and reverb-drenched drum bass giving the piece its unbeatable groove.
