RICK OWENS X ADIDAS TECH RUNNER
2014-06-04For the second season of this collaboration, Rick Owens exclusively developed a new silhouette for adidas, the Tech Runner. Owens has further refined his minimalist aesthetic by taking inspiration from Stealth Bombers for the Tech Runner and realizing it through a reduced pallet of materials and colour.
High quality suede and leathers are combined with an innovative neoprene fit. The midsole is made of a one piece EVA with a full length rubber outsole and a distinctive Rick Owens saw tooth profile.
The Tech Runner silhouette features perforated three stripes and carries Rick Owens’ signature on the heel strike as well as the adidas Style Globe logo as a sign-off.
