2022-11-07Patta and Experimental Jetset opt for a clean white canvas upper and foxing. However, this is where the traditional touches end. Across the sneaker you’ll find red and blue arrows, denoting a sense of free-flowing anti-direction as one wanders through the city. Evoking the energy of finding your own way through life, the arrows don’t adhere to what we’d usually expect from orderly directions, instead putting a psychogeographic twist on conventional metropolitan maps.
Sitting alongside screen-printed scripture reading “Patta Psychogeographic Practice,” we find medial sides decorated with the signature Converse All Star roundel and arrows clashing with North, South, East, West, Up, Down, Left, and Right pointing in the incorrect manner.
