2025-05-19JJJJound‘s latest collaboration departs from its fashion-focused projects to present a first-of-its-kind JJJJound lamp crafted by Korean artist Gyuhuan Lee using the label’s packaging materials. Aiming to maximize the role of packaging materials beyond their usual function, the design’s resourceful approach explores the intersection of branding, consumer culture, and centuries-spanning handicraft.
Drawing from the grid proportions of minimalist architecture, the lamps boast a square shape and are offered in a short and a tall edition. When turned off, the lamps resemble mundane cardboard packages, but when turned on, a warm, soft glow transforms the lantern into a refined piece of collectible homeware
