JIN MEYERSON – SAFE SPACE
2025-07-28In his debut Los Angeles exhibition, the Seoul-based artist has left terra firma. Across ten canvases and a solitary windsockesque soft sculpture, he lifts the visual language of landscape, ports it into metaverse, and returns it, somehow, to the analog world. Each a centrifugal force, the landscapes rotate free from the constraints of their genre, beyond memory and perspective. The result is what Meyerson calls a “meta-location,” something akin to the overview effect reported by astronauts.
