KANTO STARTER – CHAR FACE HOODIE

After its GENG HOODIE release, Kanto Starter is now back with its latest Pokémon-inspired offering that lets you become your favorite Fire-type.

Drawing from the full-zip hoodie design made popular by BAPE, Kanto Starter is now readying the CHAR FACE HOODIE. Modeled after Charizard, the hoodie 480 gsm French terry full-zip hooded sweatshirt features a tonal orange base marked with chenille embroidery of the Generation 1 Fire/Flying Pokémon’s facial features on the face of the hood. When fully zipped up the piece also reveals plush horns to complete the look. Finishing up the design of the hoodie is Kanto Starter branding printed on the front and a KS logo on the left sleeve.

TOMMY HILFIGER REVISITED

Tommy Jeans has announced its “Tommy Revisited: Music Edition” collection that recognizes Tommy Hilfiger’s relationship with music throughout the brand’s history. Tommy Hilfiger was one of the first American brands to collaborate with musical artists and the new capsule carries on this legacy with vintage-merch-inspired apparel.

With an inherently street-focused aesthetic, the new collection honors artists TLC, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys and the Rolling Stones across 16 styles of t-shirts and sweatshirts in blue, black, yellow, white and pink. The artists and their respective tour dates feature on the back in addition to other graphic design details.

MARION PALFI’S AMERICA – 1940-1978

This retrospective exhibition will survey the career of Marion Palfi (1907-1978), who produced an important visual document of 20th-century American injustice. Freedom Must Be Lived: Marion Palfi’s America, 1940-1978 features more than 100 photographic prints and numerous archival materials, including photobooks, magazine spreads, research journals, and grant applications, drawn exclusively from the Center for Creative Photography’s vast Marion Palfi Archive. Many of these prints and materials have never before been exhibited or published and will offer an unprecedented opportunity to draw new insights into the work.

ADIDAS CONSORTIUM X LIMITED EDT EQT RACE WALK

Singapore’s premier sneaker boutique Limited Edt was one of the 12 chosen, delivering a spin on the adidas EQT Race Walk inspired by the infamous F1 Night Race of the Singapore Grand Prix and the booming supercar culture in the city.

Inspired by the luxe interiors of supercars, the adidas Consortium x Limited Edt EQT Race Walk features matte black nubuck uppers, polished leather side stripes, and neon blue glow-in-the-dark piping accents. Mismatched adidas and “LE” branding elements are found across the black tongue tags and heel tab, and a white midsole and light blue textured outsole below complete the look.
