KELLOGG’S X GLAAD TOGETHER WITH PRIDE CEREAL

Posted on 2021-04-19

Ahead of Pride month in June, Kellogg’s and GLAAD are launching a limited-edition collaboration cereal, Together with Pride nationwide this May.

The cereal celebrates everyone having a seat at the breakfast table together in support of the LGBTQ+ community. Looking a lot like your childhood favorite Froot Loops, the colorful edition features berry-flavored rainbow hearts dusted with edible glitter.

For every box purchased and receipt uploaded to Kellog’s Family Rewards official site, Kellogg’s is donating to GLAAD to aid in its efforts to accelerate acceptance for the LGBTQ+ community.

C.W. GRIFFIN – URBAN TRANQUILITY

Posted on 2021-04-19

The exhibition, featuring the work of C.W. Griffin and curated by Carl Juste, is the exploration of a one-block area of downtown Miami surrounding Government Center, an area that provides both graphic and visual movement and a sense of serenity in the busy urban core.

“Miami is unique as a metropolitan city. Even more unique is its tranquil essence felt at its busy urban core. When you go to cities like New York you feel the hustle and bustle. But you don’t feel that in Miami,” Iris PhotoCollective photographer C.W. Griffin said. “There is a sense of calm in our streets. In our downtown you can be relaxed.”

Exhibition runs through to May 31st, 2021

MARKUS AMM – PART ONE

Posted on 2021-04-19

In his exhibition of new works, Markus Amm turns the canvas into a window onto fluctuating emotional atmospheres. Quiet, luminous, transitional: the paintings suggest a continuum of sensations, in which the viewer almost feels looking as its own form of delight, akin to the afterimages playing behind closed eyelids in a sunlit room.
Amm handles the canvases with dexterity. The highly absorbent gesso board creates a kind of screen onto which the oil diffuses. Rendered as smooth and lapidary as glass, pigment fogging the canvases like coloured smoke.
