The edition is limited by the number of sculptures sold and never reproduced. Cast from the first original Carrara marble sculpture CAPO, this part II series continues the meditation on memento mori inspired by the Stoic Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius. Despite death as an inevitable law of Nature, embracing your mortality maintains sharp focus to life in the present and gratitude for all the things we take for granted. CAPO II is another reminder to live each day as if it were your last.

Made in USA. 100% recycled cotton, 6.5-ounce heavyweight jersey. The recycled jersey fabric is soft-to-wear while maintaining a slightly textured hand. It is heavier than our pocket and graphic tees, but not as heavy as our Practice Cloth, with a slightly boxier fit.
Cotton is a resource-intensive material, and weaving it into fabric of consistent quality creates enormous amounts of waste–up to 500,000 pounds per week from a single factory. Using 100% recycled cotton means tolerating less uniformity, but the fabric of these tees remains soft and breathable, and makes great use of what would otherwise be thrown away.
