TweetThe Hotel, is the first solo exhibition of photographer Tenzing Dakpa. The compelling series of photographs features Dakpa’s family-run hotel in Sikkim, which is also his childhood home. Through the images, he creates a complex emotional and intellectual landscape which houses a series of ideas about family and home. Dakpa explores ideas of creating and returning home while simultaneously examining, collecting and coalescing his family’s experiences as inhabitants of this hotel. The photographs seem to capture a sense of belonging, which at times is interlaced with feelings of disjuncture.
Exhibition runs through to June 22nd, 2019

Taking a minute out from running his Cong Burn label, Howes really gets into Youth’s cyberpunky mindset on both sides: firstly with a soggy bilge pumper that sounds like an early MDR or Silent Servant grinder, c.2009, then with a brilliantly unexpected slice of slow, electroid dancehall torque on the B-side, all rub-and-tug bass and cold, ceramic dub FX.
TweetTaking inspiration from sunset trails on the Californian Pacific Crest, this lifestyle collection is designed for the everyday explorer – whether pounding the pavements of your favourite city or escaping to the road less travelled. The collection features all of the summer essentials from t-shirts to shorts, the much loved Base Camp Duffel bag and a range of other accessories.
TweetWolves is a new venture from Jon Buscemi and James Bond, known footwear and lifestyle entrepreneurs based in Los Angeles. Jon and James, along with their partners at Wolves, set out to create a blend that is crafted along the lines of their existing brands and lifestyles. With that in mind they went on a hunt for a Master Distiller and came across Marko Karakasevic (of Charbay fame) at his place in Northern California.
There, they made a blend with Whiskey distilled from Stout beer, aged in French oak barrels for 8 years, 5 year old Pilsner Whiskey aged in Char 3 New American oak barrels, and some Rye. Marko takes things a step further by using a rare copper alambic Charentais pot still, it’s a rarely used machine, as there are only 5 of this particular still in use. When the juice is complete it is then bottled in heavy French-cut glass. Each bottle is wrapped in Italian sheepskin leather, and then hand numbered. Each detail hand crafted and curated for your enjoyment. The still isn’t as efficient as column stills and this run is limited to 898 bottles.
