In a terrifying post-apocalyptic world inhabited by gangs divided into deadly factions, a husband and wife race desperately across the countryside in search of safety and must work together as they are pushed to the breaking point in order to survive.

TweetLaurie Victor Kay creates large-scale color photographs that capture public spaces and how we interact and inhabit our surroundings. Through repetition and digital manipulation Kay leads the viewer into her envisioned world. Her Tree series captures the parks of New York, London and Paris and turns them into an ordered utopia, while the Metro series allows Kay to explore symmetry and structure. These striking composed photographs succeed in re-introducing familiar and recognizable subjects to the viewer in fresh and new ways.

Arriving amidst a proper ruffneck revival of classic jungle flexers, Refreshers debuts with a 12 coming straight out a studio well educated in the old skool sounds of jungle, drum & bass, ragga and hardcore. From the machine gun like rattle of ‘How Bout U?’ which mixes some proper grime sorcery into its hardcore spillage. Via the ‘Busy Get Busy’ 95′ ambient pads that give way to a rip-roaring amen so fierce it threatens to jack your stereo within a few bars. While ‘Acid’ ends the trip with a belting apache break cut and pasted with some seriously toasted tones.
