JIMMY’S HALL

Posted on 2014-05-26

In 1921 Jimmy Gralton’s sin was to build a dance hall on a rural crossroads in Ireland where young people could come to learn, to argue, to dream… but above all to dance and have fun. Jimmy’s Hall celebrates the spirit of these free thinkers.
The film is set in 1932 and follows events when Jimmy returned from a decade in New York and re-opened the hall. The film is freely inspired by Jimmy’s life and turbulent times. Directed by Ken Loach.

HANON SHOP X DIADORA N9000

Posted on 2014-05-26

Hanon team up with Diadora, on their N9000 silhouette. The runner, originally released in 1990, has been outfitted with colors that harken to a weekend bus service that ran in the UK in the 1980s. Accordingly: the sneaker’s paneled upper has been executed with premium burgundy leather, accented with teal accents at the forefoot and heel counter. These features are offset by contrasting sky blue mesh at the toe box, a colour reiterated at the lining. Other features, such as hanon’s trademark ‘flame’ symbol, set off this casual pair. The “Saturday Special” N9000 drops exclusively in-store and online at hanon on May 31st.

This mechanism is patented and handcrafted from 16 single blades integrated on a rotatable bezel of 46mm. When completely open, the blades are hidden and reveal the specially designed chronograph of the watch. The hours, the minutes, and the stopwatch function are all also readable when the diaphragm is closed.
