Billie JD Piper recently had the chance to catch up with Snoop Dogg at a press conference held by adidas at Footlocker’s flagship store in London

When asked about his activity on U-stream and Twitter:
‘U-Stream is a great way for artists to connect with their fans, and witness un-staged, un-scripted moments. Its sites like that where they decide what it is they like about you personally, aside from the music. ‘

‘I have a big cup of tea and relax. I’m big on herbal tea. ‘
When asked to give women some advice on men (the piece de resistance):
‘Women go wrong because they don’t understand that the basis of a relationship is friendship. A woman should act like a lady. If you’re chilling with your buds playing video games she should know to stay out of the room until you’ve finished. Unless she’s bringing you drinks.’

Starburst, the first-ever museum survey of the “New Color Photography” in the 1970s, stars 18 artists who fast-forwarded their medium out of its black-and-white past and put it at the center of contemporary art. The exhibition features generous bodies of work by eighteen artists, from the still-prominent, such as Stephen Shore, William Eggleston, Jan Groover, and Joel Sternfeld, to key figures of the period, including Eve Sonneman, Neal Slavin, John Pfahl, and Barbara Kasten.”

Suh’s photographs depict sweeping landscapes blanketed in smoke from nearby fires, while his human subjects engage in pursuits of both labor and leisure, despite the smoky conditions. Often shot from a high vantage point, these individuals are often dwarfed by the majestic landscapes surrounding them. Suh notes that the luminous tones and colors of the photographs reference these earlier masters – but with a hint of irony, for these picturesque sunsets are enhanced by the haze of smoke from nearby fires, and these heroes are simply tourists, more oblivious than brave.
