GOOGLE MOON
2009-07-20For the 40th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing, technologically-advanced Google was able to create a digital remake of the Moon, following in the footsteps of the very popular Google Maps application. Google worked very closely with NASA Ames Research Center in order to create this great application. The map does not tell you how to get around the Moon, as Google maps does, but it does feature landmarks of Apollo landings, and historical information and details about the 6 Apollo landings.
