At the heart of the collection is a bold reinterpretation of Daft Punk’s visual identity. Their signature robot helmets are prominently featured throughout, appearing on everything from denim to tees, giving the capsule a distinctly cyberpunk edge. A standout T-shirt nods to the 2005 hit “Technologic,” emblazoned with its bold orange lyrics pulled directly from the music video, and anchored by a robotic figure printed on the back. A long-sleeve half zip up captures the haunting aesthetic of the “Prime Time of Your Life” music video, blending eerie nostalgia with graphic intensity. Some apparel even features visuals from Interstella 5555 : The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem, the anime-style film that visualized their Discovery album in full. One of the most striking pieces is a full-zip hoodie designed with a high neckline that zips all the way to the top of the head — fully enclosing the face and resembling the shape and silhouette of Daft Punk’s iconic helmets.

KNEECAP FEAT MOZEY – THE RECAP

When Mo Chara, Moglaí Bap and DJ Provaí – aka Belfast’s finest Kneecap – entered the studio with producer Toddla T in the Summer of 2023, they quickly decided to scrap everything they had already prepared for the album they were about to record. Instead, they decided to build a pub together. Built on a West Belfast side street, The Rutz is a community boozer, in that the entire community uses it. All human life is inside, either thriving, striving or skiving. There are people just trying to get served at the bar or up on the stage performing; others are slumped in darkened corners or emerging bleary eyed and coke smeared from the toilets..

NINTENDO’S KIRBY X HEINZ

This month, the two giants are set to release a limited-edition collection of Kirby-themed ketchup bottles and exclusive keychains, cementing a partnership that truly embodies the phrase, “Maxim Tomato meets tomato ketchup.”

KEVIN BEASLEY – WHAT DELINEATES THE EDGE

Beasley’s sculptural freestanding screens rely on this signature use of resin as well as the incorporation of bedsheets, military uniforms, shoes, hats, wood, carbon fiber, and denim to spatially organize the exhibition in a configuration that prompts improvisatory exploration. Intended to serve as armatures for the meanings and memories intrinsic to the materials, the screens’ partitions function as windows opening from one screen onto another, and into the surrounding space. The addition of hinges, and the multipaneled nature of the work, bring a new mobility and mutability to Beasley’s work, while underlining the physical space of the threshold as a tangible and metaphorical site that holds and generates meaning.

AS PRETTY DOES

Growing up in the Deep South often feels like growing up in a different time or country. The unique landscape, history and ways of being stand apart from the monolith of mainstream culture. Viewed from the outside as backwards and lacking; stereotypes of southerness are inert, and fail to include the South’s true complexity, enduring charm, and diversity. The reality of the South is lived, active and chosen every day. There’s a colloquialism here that “pretty is as pretty does”, or in other words, pleasant behavior always outweighs pleasant looks.

In this exhibition, featuring work from eight photographers collected by The Do Good Fund of Columbus, GA, each artist captures what we do—a farmer fashioning a scarecrow for his garden, parading dancers, or a brass band performing for a church service. These images convey the ways we live, with intricate layers of identity and belonging woven into the fabric of Southern life. These are decisive moments. Intimate portraits and landscapes alike embody the spirit of the South as lived and living.
