2025-09-29The album features the three UK No 1 singles ‘Relax’, ‘Two Tribes’, and ‘The Power of Love’ along with the 12 minute album version of the title track which reached No 2 in 1985, in single form. Other highlights include ‘War’, ‘The World Is My Oyster’, ‘Born to Run’ and ‘Black Night White Light’.
This deluxe edition put together for the first time in conjunction with the band, features 28 unreleased tracks and takes the listener on a journey from the band’s earliest demos and BBC Radio One Sessions through the singles to the album and beyond. Each disc contains rare and, in most cases, unreleased versions of songs that are the gold standard for 80’s music.
The world-renowned artist, producer and remixer Steven Wilson has contributed an a Dolby Atmos mix as well as Stereo and 5.1 mixes for the blu-ray, and the booklet has been designed by Philip Marshall with rare photos and memorabilia and includes a timeline of the band’s rise to fame with input from all members of Frankie Goes to Hollywood.
