2018-04-16Last seen on Whities when it was only 7 releases deep, Quirke returns after a two-year hiatus from the imprint (very much in the middle of a purple patch) with a super strong 12″ of introspective blue techno.
Lazy references aside, Whities 015’s three tracks are all gear of a very high quality. Vatied City builds in momentum with ease yet feels like its constantly moments away from collapsing out of exhaustion, haunted by the atmospheres of a thousand hours spent trawling YouTube playlists for post-club electronica tunes long forgotten.
