2015-11-16Veteran electronic experimentalist duo Matmos are back with a new album, and it’s composed entirely of washing machine sounds. Ultimate Care II, out February 19th on Thrill Jockey, features guests Dan Deacon, Half Japanese’s Jason Willett, and members of Horse Lords and Needle Gun, along with the sounds of a Whirlpool Ultimate Care II washing machine, recorded in their basement. The record is one long track.
