NOAH X THE POGUES

Posted on 2024-03-04

NOAH knows how to curate a commemorative capsule, delivering festive offerings for holidays like Christmas and paying homage to some of the brand’s key musical inspirations including The Cure, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jimi Hendrix throughout its consistent seasonal releases.

St. Patrick’s Day is no exception for Brendon Babenzien‘s NYC-based label, who has used the imminent occasion to spotlight another one of his key influences. Babenzien tapped into his personal connection to UK rockers The Pogues to deliver a green-hued capsule in homage to the Shane MacGowan-fronted band.

The capsule includes a leather sport coat, a crewneck, two long-sleeve tees, two short-sleeve tees, a 5-panel hat and a Zippo lighter. Take a closer look at the pieces below.

POKÉMON + 100 THIEVES

Posted on 2024-03-04

For the label’s first big move in 2024, 100 Thieves has teamed up with the Pokémon franchise on an expansive lineup of outerwear and tops. Many fan-favorite Pokémon from the original Kanto region are featured throughout the collection, with Pikachu serving as the star of the show on his own varsity jacket made in collaboration with Golden Bear Sportswear. The electric mouse also stars across his own half-zip sherpa pullover in black. Elsewhere, a 3-layer waterproof nylon jacket taps into a water-based theme with subtle Blastoise graphics. Charmander enters the mix on a co-branded knit cardigan while Charizard lights up a pair of corduroy pants. Complementing the range, five hoodies featuring Gengar, Venusaur, Blastoise, Charizard and Pikachu have been assembled alongside four t-shirts for the starter Pokémon and Pikachu.

ARC’TERYX – BETA JACKET

Posted on 2024-03-04

The Beta Jacket and Beta Lightweight Jacket are two of the company’s best selling products and it has just updated them both with GORE-TEX ePE, a new kind of GORE-TEX that’s being touted as more sustainable and better for the planet.

Arc’teryx is one of the first brands to launch this latest version of the world-famous waterproof membrane. It was tested and co-created with the GORE company and, according to Arc’teryx, “met or exceeded performance benchmarks while delivering a measurable improvement in sustainability.” The new GORE-TEX ePE membrane is “lighter and thinner” than previous versions, it claims, adding to the jackets’ performance credentials, going on to say that the updated Beta jackets took over two years to develop and required “a total redesign.”
