One of the most important architects working today, David Chipperfield produces subtle and sophisticated buildings with an acute sensitivity for materials and a powerful awareness of their environment. This major exhibition celebrates his work for the first time in the UK and spans his entire career to date, including such acclaimed projects as the River and Rowing Museum in Henley-on-Thames, and the Museum of Modern Literature in Marbach, Germany, winner of the RIBA Stirling Prize for Architecture 2007. The exhibition also illustrates important public commissions including the reconstruction of the Neues Museum in Berlin, and The Hepworth Wakefield gallery.

As part of their Five-Two 3 Collection, adidas Originals has worked with Japanese brand NEXUSVII® on their classic Track Top jacket. The jacket comes in black, with leather stripes on the sleeves and further leather details around the pockets. The zippers all come in yellow gold with rhinestone details on the zip pull. The lookbook, starring Star Trak’s Teyana Taylor, features a wide variety of vibrant looks, showcasing the brand’s urban appeal and New York swagger. Undefeated Las Vegas will release some exclusive t-shirts in store for all the folks coming through during the Vegas tradeshows, that are starting today. This year Undefeated played with the stripper/call girl theme on the tees, which come in a series of colorways. Overall Undefeated presents three different designs that are being released in their Las Vegas store later today.

One of the great pioneers of fashion photography, and a decisive influence on subsequent generations of fashion photographers, Norman Parkinson is famous for redefining glamour in fashion as something far more spontaneous and modern than it had ever been before him. A lavish portrait of his long career from the 1930s through the 1980s, Louise Baring’s Norman Parkinson: A Very British Glamour is being published by Rizzoli in October 2009. To celebrate the publication of the book, a selection of portraits from the Norman Parkinson archive will be displayed at Somerset House.
